PAALAK (SPINACH) KA PUNCH

Spinach is a leafy vegetable full of lots of nutrients , vitamins and minerals. This is readily available everywhere and in all seasons. This is the rich source of iron . Also contains vitamins like A,K, magnesium ,phosphorus and vit.B12 too.

Also a good source of selenium , niacine and omega 3fatty acid.

Spinach is loaded with FLAVANOID which act as antioxidants and fight with free radicles.

There are lots of healthy recipies which are made by using spinach . Here is the one  ...

PALAK DAAL....
Ingredients..
Toor daal.                         3/4cup
Chopped spinach.             3cup
Chopped onion.                1/2cup
Ginger garlic paste.           2tbs
Chopped green chilly.       3
Cumin seeds.                     1/2tbs
Turmeric.                           1/4tbs
Oil and salt.                      

METHOD.....

  • Take toor daal ,turmeric and adequate amount of water in pressure cooker and cook. When it cooks well then mash it and keep aside. 
  • Heat the pan and fry cumin seeds and add ginger garlic paste and fry till it becomes brown.
  • Now add green chilly and onion and fry . When the onion becomes golden brown then add spinach,turmeric and  salt.
  • Cook it for 4 to 5 min. and then add toor daal and water and boil it properly .
  • Now garnish with coriender leaves and serve .
Now your healthy and tasty spinach daal is ready to eat with rice and chapaties(bread) .

CARROT CAKE WITH MARZIPAN TOPPING

INGREDIENTS......
         Grated carrot           One cup
         All purpose flour      Two cup
         Sugar.                        Two cup
          Eggs.                        Four
         Vegetable oil.            11/2 cup
          Salt.                           1/2tbs
         Grated walnut.            1/2cup
          Cinnamon powder.     1tbs
          Raisins.                       20 -25
Carrot cake        
For MARZIPAN
  Cashewnut.                  100g
  Sugar powder.              100gm
  White part of egg.          One
  Rose water and one drop almond essence
Marzipan is a confection consisting primarily of sugar or honey and almond meal, sometimes augmented with almond oil or extract.
Mix all the above ingredients well to make smooth paste.

METHOD.........

  • Take oil and sugar in a bowl and mix well .
  • Add eggs and stir .
  •  Then add vanilla essence and carrot and mix .
  •  Keep this mixture aside.
  • Take all purpose flour ,salt and baking powder and mix.
  • Add walnut ,raisins and cinnamon powder.
  • Now add this mixture to above prepared mixture and mix.
  • Then make the round cake shape and keep in preheated oven at 180 degree for 40 -45 min.
  • Now top with Marzipan ..
Now the dellicious carrot cake is ready to eat.

TIPS TO GET A HEALTHY AND BEAUTIFUL NAILS

Nails are the most important part of your hand or leg . They gives a beautiful look if healthy and ruined all good looks if unhealthy and unshaped .

Here are some tips to keep your nails healthy and beautiful
I'm talking pedicure on our toes

  • Eating soyabean and yeast ( good source of vit. B) helps in reducing white spots and lines of nails.
  • Take enough amount of water as less amount of water than the body requirements brings lots of problems to our body.
  • Carrot is very beneficial for your nails as well as health. Consuming carrot makes our nails strong and shiny.
  • Always make sure that your nails should be dry when you shape it .
  • Never cut your nail by teeths as it stops the growth of nails.
  • Use nail strenthner two times a week . You can use it on both polished or plain nails.
  • Massage with warm olive oil twice in a week .
MANICURE AT HOME.....


  • First clean nails with shampoo and remove the dead cuticle by scrubing .
  • Dry it either by cool setting of dryer or by normal way.
  • Then give a mild massage with a manicure massage cream.
  • Moisturise nails with good moisturiser . Usually you should moisturise your nails daily in night  to keep them soft and beautifull.
Home made manicure tip....
     Take warm water , add few drops of lime juice . Dip your nails for few minutes then clean it properly . Now massage with good moisturising cream.
